About the event
The tragic news that we have all been witness to over the last week has been tumultuous. At such times I am reminded of an African quote ~ "As you pray, move your feet." Thoughts and prayers are wonderful but they need to be followed with action, no matter how small, to create the impact needed in the world today. It may seem like 1 person may not make a difference but what we can do together is always greater than what we can do alone.
So join me for this class where I will be donating 50% of proceeds to World Central Kitchen run by the absolutely amazinf Chef Jose Andres. He and his team and on the ground, feeding the bodies and nurturing the souls of the hungry in war torn Israel, Gaza and surrounding areas.Â
Food has the power to create. Food has the power to unite. Food has the power to heal. Â We can absorb that power so that we feel deeply nourished and from there, love, give and act in the best and most productive way that we can.Â
